Pink in the Park


Location: Centennial Field (Burlington, Vt.)
Date and Time: 7/19 at Gate Opens 5:00 p.m., Game starts 6:05 p.m.

Special opportunity for cancer survivors and their families and friends! Come to support Making Strides Against Breast Cancer with Pink in the Park on Saturday, July 19 as the Vermont Lake Monsters take on the Hudson Valley Renegades at Centennial Field! Cancer survivors may request a free four-pack of tickets to the game ($28 value) that are donated by the New England Ford Dealerships. Survivors will be given a commemorative pink Lake Monsters hat, sponsored by Jolley. To request free tickets, cancer survivors must emailchittendenvtstrides@cancer.org with their names and the number of tickets (up to 4 allowed) or call 802-872-6344. There will be a pre-game on-the-field experience for cancer survivors and their family members and friends, including a formation of a human ribbon for a photograph! Wear pink! More information.


Making Strides Event


Location: Castleton State College
Date and Time: 7/23 at 6 - 8 p.m.

Held at Rutland County Pavilion at Castleton State College from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, July 23. Dinner buffet available for $7 per person from 6:00 – 7:00 PM. Bring your family and friends! Everyone is welcome! Speaker Program! Information Stations!Making Strides Store! Kid Activities! Wear pink! All attendees entered to win door prizes! Bark For Life

The American Cancer Society's Bark For Life is a non-competitive walking event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness about the fight against cancer. The event will feature music, food, contests, and giveaways. Register and more information.


5K Hops for Hope

Hops For Hope 5K Run/walk is an exciting new event in conjunction with the Mount Snow Annual Brewers Festival. Participants will enjoy a multi-terrain run/walk that is beginner friendly while challenging for even the most seasoned runners. SMUGGS for Hope is a new and exciting 12-hour fundraising event taking place at Smugglers’ Notch Resort in Jeffersonville. Walk a scenic SMUGGS trail, participate in themed games for all ages, floating Luminaria ceremony, and fireworks at closing ceremonies.
