Steve Glazier did something completely different in this week's workout, an "all natural" routine at that.

By "all natural" we mean he used the settings around us to get in a good workout. Steve walked along the recreational path in South Burlington, VT until he found a trail in the woods. Without knowing what was inside he was able to find two different sized rocks, a little gully, and a sturdy tree. Here's what he came up with.

*Carry the heavy rock approximately 50 yards
*Carry the lighter rock over your head for the 50 yards back to the original spot
*Find a tree sturdy enough to do pulls ups (or pull up assists) on!
*Squat jumps from the small gully onto the higher piece of land (about 1-2 feet higher)

Repeat three times!

Then Steve found a hill and did 50 meter sprints up the hill, then 10 burpees, and jogged back to the start to repeat that 2 more times for a total of 3 sets.

If you choose to do this workout please go with a partner, it makes it much safer. If going along let someone know when you leave and plan to get back. Bring bug spray and if outside for a while some sunscreen. Also drink plenty of water because it's an intense workout on hot summer days!
