Annual Christmas tree sale to support All Breed Rescue

COLCHESTER, Vt. - If you're in need of a Christmas tree this season, head over to All Breed Rescue in Williston. This Friday and Saturday, a special Christmas tree sale, sponsored by various local businesses, will help raise funds for the shelter.

The event is sponsored by Pinnacle Properties, Nate’s Automotive, The Equipment Doctor,, DJ’s Tree Service, Doggie Styles Grooming & Boutique and VT Federal Credit Union.

Free poinsettia plants, from Claussen's Greenhouse in Colchester, will be given out (while supplies last) to those bringing non-perishable food donations for the local food shelf and/or donations for the animals at All Breed Rescue. There will also be a raffles and prizes.

The Christmas tree sale starts at 9 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday and will continue through 5 p.m. while tree supplies last.

Coffee and hot chocolate, donated by Starbucks, will be provided and visitors will have an opportunity to meet with adoptable dogs.

All Breed Rescue is a compassionate, non-profit rescue dedicated to saving adoptable dogs from high-kill shelters in the South and placing them in loving homes in Vermont. All Breed Rescue has placed over 7,000 dogs since its beginning in 1996 and over 800 so far in 2017.
