BENSON, Vt. - Shale Hill Adventure is home to more than 65 obstacles for athletes to challenge themselves with year round. This weekend kicks off the 4th Annual Polar Bear Challenge which will combine cold weather, obstacles and a 10k all in one event.
Although the course is a 10k race there is also a 5k option with mud, ice, snow, hills and much more. The course will be open for eight hours to ensure enough time to complete the physical and mental obstacles.
If you can't make the Polar Bear Challenge but still want to participate in the fun you can attend a guided obstacle course run on Sundays at 10am and in the summer you can also go on Wednesday evenings. Contact Shale Hill Adventure to reserve a spot.
