COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Vermont Brewers Festival kicks off on Burlington’s waterfront this Friday, July 21st. It will be a weekend long celebration of beer.
This year there will be a total of 45 Brewers on site, 35 which are from Vermont. There will also be some special guests featured.
Amy Cronin of the Vermont Brewers Association says they are very excited about the event.
“Tickets went on sale back in the spring, and so we are so glad the event is finally here,” Cronin says.
Festival goers will get 15 tasting tickets for the day. They then choose which brewers and beers they want to sample.
There will also be live music all weekend, food vendors, and retail vendors. T-shirts for the Vermont Brewer’s Festival will also be on sale.
Tickets are still available for the Friday session from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. You can purchase tickets here or buy them at the gate.
“It’s at a beautiful spot you can’t go wrong being on the waterfront in Burlington, and we’re grateful for the city for letting us have the event here and all the work that they do to help put this event on,” Cronin says.
