Alburgh Man Accused of Spraying Cow Manure on Border Patrol Cruiser

ALBURGH, Vt. - An Alburgh man is accused of spraying cow manure on a Border Patrol cruiser with an agent inside.

The Islander was first to report the story Monday.

The Grand Isle County State’s Attorney Doug DiSabito tells Local 22 & Local 44 News, Mark Johnson, 53, sprayed cow manure out of frustration for how he feels the federal government is handling undocumented workers in the area.

The incident happened on August 3rd on Fox Hill Road in Alburgh.

Johnson is facing a charge of attempted assault on a law enforcement with fluids.

He will be arraigned Thursday.

“There's a proper and an improper way to voice your position and/or frustration with the government, whether it be state government or federal government and this is really not the way to do that,” said Mr. DiSabito.
