American Bull Dog Cookie looks for her forever home

COLCHESTER, Vt. - Meet Cookie, an American Bull dog, as sweet as her name implies. The affectionate, playful pup enjoys snuggling and sleeping with her people and loves to play with toys.

Cookie has been at Homeward Bound, Addison County's Humane Society for almost a year.

Homeward Bound's Director of Development, Hannah Manley says Cookie is starting to get sad and depressed, because she still hasn't found a home.

"We've actually had staff members catch her in her kennel with her head under her bed crying. We really want to see Cookie find her forever home for Thanksgiving or Christmas," Manley said.
