Ben and Jerry's Church Street Shop Re-opens

Burlington, Vermont -

Ben and Jerry's flagship scoop shop is back open.

It’s Church Street location closed in February for renovations.

Ice cream lovers will notice a few new elements in the re-modeled space including an old VW Bus.

The space was last re-modeled in 2008.

In addition to a new design, there were a number of upgrades in the prep-area to improve safety.

Ben and Jerry's are calling this a soft-open.

"There are still a few elements that we are trying to add, that we want to finish, complete, touch-ups”, said Ryan Midden,Manager of the Flagship shop. “We are going to have a few weeks of this sort of soft opening and kind of learn about the shop and space and how it's functioning with people and then we hope to host a grand-opening celebration".

Today’s soft opening lines up with the nation-wide launch of the “chill-aco”, an ice cream taco.
