BURLINGTON, Vt. - Burlington police say a man is recovering from burns after catching on fire at a laundromat.

Police say it happened at "Little Eagle Bay" in Burlington's New North End Sunday morning.

They say the man was part of a flooring company and was pouring lacquer thinner on the floor.  A clothes dryer was running at the same time, fumes built up, and the man caught on fire.

Police say he ran out of the building just before an explosion.
They tell us he had moderate burns on his arms and upper body. He's in stable condition at Fletcher Allen Health Care.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
