Burlington, Vt. - Burlington Police say three men were arrested on drug-related charges on Friday morning.
According to police, the arrests were made after a search warrant was executed at a home on Lafountain Street. Police say the search warrant issued for a long-term drug investigation about group that was trafficking drugs from New York City to Vermont
Authorities say Keith Spaulding, 51, of Burlington was charged with delivery of cocaine and heroin. Police say Spaulding’s residence was one of the places used for the distribution of drugs. Police found a loaded handgun and 100 bags of heroin in the bathroom.
A media release states that Trevor Sutherland, 20 and Jermaine Rushing, 21, of Brooklyn, New York were also charged, they were found in the bathroom of Spaulding's residence. Sutherland was charged with the sale of cocaine and heroin. Rushing was charged with possession of heroin.
Police say all three suspects are pending arraignment at Vermont Superior Court in Burlington.
