Chick-fil-A Announces When it Plans on Opening in Plattsburgh

Plattsburgh, N.Y. - If you were looking forward to getting Chick-fil-A in the Plattsburgh area this summer, you’ll have to wait a bit longer.

Representatives from the food chain say it plans on opening locations in upstate New York in Plattsburgh, Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse. Chick-fil-A, Inc. says it plans on opening in those locations in 2018 or 2019.

The chain sent the following statement to Local 22 & Local 44:

"Its official - Chick-fil-A is coming to Upstate New York! After searching for the perfect locations for years and hearing how eager our fans are to have us as part of their communities, we’re excited to announce that we will open our first restaurants in the Buffalo, Plattsburgh, Rochester and Syracuse areas in 2018/2019. While we don’t yet have more details to share, we are committed to continuing our Upstate growth in the coming years."

The town of Plattsburgh had announced in March that the chain was opening up on Route 3, across from Consumer Square.
