Community rallies behind Winooski Police Officer

WINOOSKI, Vt. - People in Winooski and beyond are rallying around a police officer who is battling terminal cancer.
Lieutenant Mike Cram has not only been serving Vermont as a law enforcement officer for 25 years, he also served 30 years in the Army National Guard.
While fighting his toughest battle yet, Cram decided to dedicate his life insurance policy to help support Camp Ta-Kum-Ta.
Friends have also set up a fundraiser for the camp, in Cram's honor.
So far, the page has raised more than 20-thousand dollars.
Honoring the family's wishes the Winooski Police Department and National Guard are not doing any interviews at this time.
