WASHINGTON - According to a media release from the USDA 1,719 pounds of chicken Caesar salad products are being recalled because they were misbranding and not declaring an allergen. The product says that it is gluten-free but it actually contains wheat.
The product was produced on August 1, 2017 by Missa Bay, LLCand was sold to Cumberland Farms locations in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island and Vermont.
The products are salad bowls containing the following: 9.95 oz. plastic salad bowls containing “Cumberland FARMS CHICKEN CAESAR SALAD with ROMAINE LETTUCE, ROASTED CHICKEN, PARMESAN CHEESE, BACON, MULTIGRAIN CROUTONS & CREAMY CAESAR DRESSING and bar code: 042704 034301, with a use by date of August 16, 2017.
