BURLINGTON, VT- In celebration of Earth Day, all this week many 'Green Friendly' activities and events are happening on UVM's campus.

Tuesday, environmentalist groups held a rally about climate change called "Frack Apathy Unite in Action"

Another student organization gave away plants.

Also, some students created a sidewalk 3D chalk installation of a Vermont landscape to celebrate Earth Day.

"It's distorted so it will look from a certain angle like a photograph is actually standing up on the ground to take their picture in," said Katie Runde, UVM Senior.

"It's good time because everyone is kind of in the spirit of saving the planet," said Brianna O'Brien, another UVM Student.
