Plattsburgh, NY- The Frozen Four in Plattsburgh brings people into the area from across the country.

That means a big boost in business.

Even though two teams competing are local, the tournament still attracts a good size crowd.

That means more people in the area are spending money.

A few hotel managers said this weekend they've been pretty well booked.

Restaurants in the area are serving more customers.

The North Country Chamber of Commerce said thats especially important this time of year.

"It always has a positive affect on the community whether its sales tax or attractions, them coming into the community and going around the county seeing what it has to offer." said Kristy Kennedy, North Country Chamber of Commerce.

"We know we have people coming in for the final four what are they going to do on saturday morning before the game's at three, well maybe they are out here having breakfast," said Congressman Bill Owens.
