Two historic cabins in Bolton will soon be restored to their original glory, with your help.

The cabins were built in 1912. Bolton Lodge and Bryant Cabin are both in disrepair.

Saturday, Bolton Valley hosted a fundraiser to restore them. However, it's main fundraising event was the Alpine Skiing Race.

It was canceled because of the below zero temperature.

Yet, raffles and the auction still went on as schedule.

Green Mountain Club is raising the money to install fire burning stoves and other upgrades this summer.

"Their just beautiful places to visit. You can go up there with your family. You can relax. You can be in the wilderness. It's just a really historic part of Vermont that I love and many others do as well," said Ethan Bogar, with Green Mountain Club.

So far they need to raise around $20,000 to meet the $90,000 goal for both restoration projects. People can go online to make a donation at: www.greenmountainclub.org
