Explosion Levels Home in Guilford, Vt.

Firefighters responded to a call for a house explosion in Guildford, Vermont, Wednesday morning. 

According to fire officials, a neighbor heard a noise that woke them up around 2:30 a.m., the neighbor fell back asleep and discovered their neighbor's house had was completely leveled when they woke up around 7 a.m. 

Officials say there was one person in the cellar under the rubble of the home.

The occupant was pulled out and found to be conscious and was transported to Brattleboro Memorial Hospital.

Guildford, Brattleboro, Putney, Vermont, and Keene, New Hampshire  fire crews were at the scene. 

Officials say there are investigators currently at the scene.
