If you’d like to give your input on Vermont’s clean water funding priorities for the next fiscal year, time is running out.
Vermont’s Clean Water Act was signed into law in 2015. The focus of this law is to improve the water quality of Vermont’s lakes, rivers, wetlands, and ponds. The law also created the Clean Water Fund, which gets a certain amount of funding every year to clean-up Vermont's waters.
The Clean Water Fund Board uses public feedback to help determine where to use the funds from the Clean Water Fund for that fiscal year.
The board's public comment period ends on Sunday at 4:30 p.m.
