There was quite a selection, everything from peach, apple, and berry pies.
Pie-baking volunteers have been perfecting the art of pie making for more than 25 years. You can justify helping yourself to a second slice because all proceeds support the museum's mission.
"It's like a little extra incentive for people to come," Jane Williamson, Museum Director, said. "We find that a lot of people tell us they have been driving by for 20 years. We sell pie as an incentive to make a visit."
While people ate pie they also learned about the museum's connection to the underground railroad.
