It's the Perfect Day for Kids at the Fair

ESSEX JUNCTION, Vt.- This week marks the first full week of the Ten Best Days of Summer. There are many special admissions costs all week and today is Kids Day. On Monday, August 25, at The Champlain Valley Fair, kids get into the fair at a discounted rate of $4. They must be between the ages of five and twelve and kids under five get into the fair free.

Many attractions are kid and family friendly. The Old McDonald Farm has hatching chicks, miniature horses, piglets and the chance to milk a cow. Kids between the ages of four and ten can also participate in the Meet the Animals Game to learn about the farm and win a free creemee from the Sugarhouse.

There are also many rides available to kids of all ages. The tallest height restriction is 60 inches but plenty rides are thrilling enough for children not at that height. An unlimited ride pass can be purchased inside the fair for $30.

Gates open at 10am everday and close at midnight.
