What's New at Vermont State Parks this Summer

COLCHESTER, Vt. - What’s new at Vermont State Parks this year?

Park Director, Craig Whipple says there’s always something new. That’s one of the biggest values of experiences a park he says.

This year, Vermont has three new state parks. One is in Hubbardton, known as the Taconic Mountains Ramble Par. Another is in Springfield, known as Muckross State Park. The third is called Molly’s Falls Pond State Park in Cabot and Marshfield. It was obtained by a federal grant.

“We’re excited, there’s growth and there’s excitement. We’re trying to figure out how to manage them,” Whipple says.

Whipple encourages people to come out and visit the State Parks and meet all the employees and workers who help maintain the parks.
