COLCHESTER, Vt. - With the weather warming up, state parks across Vermont are gearing up for the season. So why should you be excited to explore nature? Vermont State Park Director, Craig Whipple says it’s all about connecting with nature.
There are some great benefits to exploring the outdoors Whipple says.
“Parks are place for people to have to opportunity to get outdoors, relax, have fun with their friends and family, rejuvenate themselves, and connect with nature,” Whipple says.
Whipple says parks can also help you relieve your stress.
“Parks become the place where everyone goes for a common purpose, peace,” Whipple says.
If you want to get the connection to nature, parks can be an easy and secure way to find that connection, Whipple says.
