Man Arrested Hours After Being Released

Burlington, Vt. - Burlington Police say a man was arrested after threatening people in the Cayuga Court neighborhood around 5:15 p.m. Monday.

Officials say Jason Breault, 41, was threatening people on the street, and was initially non-compliant with officers' request to safely comply.

Authorities say there were several 911 calls of a man showing a knife.

Breault was arrested for assault and disorderly conduct, according to a release from police.

Officials say Breault has 13 active sets of conditions of release from separate charges of aggravated domestic assault, aggravated disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, violation of conditions of release, DUI, unlawful mischief and trespassing.

Authorities say Breault was arrested Saturday and released Monday afternoon.
