Manchester Police: 8 Arrested in Prostitution Sting

Manchester, N.H. - Manchester Police say eight people were charged with prostitution related charges on Monday.

Police say the arrests were a result of a sting called “Operation Breakfast Club”.

According to a media release, Edwin Arroyo Batista, 43 of Manchester; Andre Benson, 49 of Manchester; Andres Santos Ventura, 42 of Manchester; Paul Gagnon, 74 of Franklin, New Hampshire; Gary Gemmott, 59 of Franklin, New Hampshire were all arrested for allegedly agreeing to exchange money for sexual favors from an undercover police officer.

Police say Edward Marsi, 37 of Danville, New Hampshire and Patience Stone, 23 of Manchester were arrested after a undercover officer saw them allegedly engaging in lewd behavior. Authorities say Marsi was charged with indecent exposure and prostitution related offenses and Stone was charged with prostitution.

A media release says Ashley Berube, 19 of Manchester was also arrested for allegedly offering to exchange sexual favors for money to an undercover officer.

Police say all of the suspects are scheduled to appear in court in October.
