WASHINGTON - The FBI is looking to identify a man believed to have sexually exploited a child.

The FBI says images and video of an adult male engaging in sexually explicit activities with a child were first recorded by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in November 2012.

Authorities have uncovered several clues from the photos and video like a blue sofa chair and picture hanging on a wall inside a residence.

The FBI says there are no specific details linking the man to a particular state or region of the United States. Both his name and whereabouts are unknown.

The man is described as being in his 30s or 40s, with a receding hairline, and wearing wire-framed glasses.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the FBI by sending a tip on their website, calling the FBI's toll-free tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI.
