WASHINGTON - The Pentagon has made the call to ground its fleet of F-35 fighter jets.

This after a recent runway fire at Eglin Air Force base in Florida. Details on the June 23rd fire were not immediately available.

A Pentagon spokesman said the incident is under investigation, and that extra inspections of F-35 engines were ordered.

Last year, the U.S. military grounded F-35 fighter jets because of a crack found in an engine component.
