NEW YORK - Pope Francis tops Fortune Magazine's list of the world's 50 greatest leaders.

The magazine gave the pope the top spot for electrifying the Catholic Church.

Noticeably absent from that list President Barack Obama.

Also on the list: Actress Angelina Jolie for her humanitarian work, former President Bill Clinton for his fight against HIV/AIDs, U.S. frontman Bono, and Derek Jeter for his role model status in Major League Baseball.

No word on why President Obama was not included.

Others who did make the list: German Chancellor Angela Merkel, former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, Warren Buffett, Michael Bloomberg, and the ceo's of YouTube, Apple, Starbucks, Ford and Amazon.com.
