Syracuse Grad Injured in Fort Hood Shootings

FORT HOOD, Texas - A Syracuse University graduate was injured in Wednesday's shootings at Fort Hood.

According to Syracuse University Associate VP for Public Relations Erin Kane, Patrick Miller was a 2009 graduate with a Master of Business Administration and Public Administration degrees. He was also enrolled in the Department of Defense Comptroller Program. 

Four people were killed, including the gunman Ivan Lopez and 16 others were wounded in Wednesday's shooting at the base. 

Lopez, 34, was an army specialist and had only been at the base since February. He had previously served with the National Guard in Puerto Rico. Lopez also served in Iraq.
