WASHINGTON - The U.S. Senate passed a Farm Bill Tuesday.

A press release says Vermont Senator Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.) was a conferee in the House-Senate Farm Bill negotiations.

The U.S. House passed the Farm Bill last week. The bill now awaits President Barack Obama's signature.

The bill passed the Senate in a 68 to 32 vote.
