First, we all hate fighting for power outlets, buying the expensive food and $5 bottles of water but one thing you can consider is getting a membership to an airport lounge.
You can purchase one for say, the Delta Sky Club, United Club, if you fly a lot.
There are also day passes available for not too much and many have wi-fi, magazines, complimentary snacks and drinks.
Something to consider if your flight gets delayed or if you have a long layover.
This may seem simple, but make sure you take a deep breath. It will help relax you and in fact, some airports like San Francisco, Dallas, Burlington, and Raleigh, to name a few, have spaces where you can even roll out your yoga mat.
