New Hampshire State Police: Driver arrested after breath test found he was twice legal limit

CANTERBURY, NH - New Hampshire State Police say a man has been charged after a breath test found he was twice the legal limit.

 

Thomas Devareene, 27, of Manchester, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, reckless operation and open container.

 

Officials say the incident happened just before 3 a.m. Sunday morning.  Police responded to a report of a driver heading north in the southbound lane on I-93, near MM 46.

 

 

The driver was found after the car became disabled, due to a prior crash, just north of exit 18 near Concord, NH.

 

Devareene was released, and will be in court on Dec. 22.
