HANOVER, N.H. - Dartmouth College will test its emergency notification systems on Monday. That means if you live nearby, expect loud sirens.

Voice speakers may also be heard outdoors, up to 10 miles. The messages will be clearly identified as tests, so don't be alarmed. The alarms may sound for up to 15 minutes.

During an actual emergency, you would hear specific instructions indicating what was going on.
