Dartmouth-Hitchcock Receives Funding For Telemedicine to Help Aneurysm Patients
LEBANON, N.H. - Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center will get some money for telemedicine to help brain aneurysm patients.
In the U.S., 32,000 lose their lives to brain aneurysms annually. This is partly due to misdiagnosis.
The $150,000 grant comes from the Missy Project. Marisa "Missy" Magel was a 12-year-old who died suddenly from an aneurysm while at summer camp in Texas.
