Lebanon Police Make Arrest in Armed Robbery

LEBANON, N.H.- The Lebanon Police Department made an arrest in an armed robbery at Maplefields Convenience Store on Mechanic Street early Thursday morning. The incident happened at around 1:15 a.m.

Police say Skylar Smith, 22, of White River Junction, Vt., held a knife and demanded money from the clerk. After receiving an unknown amount of cash, Smith is accused of fleeing east on Mechanic Street.

The clerk was not injured during the armed robbery.

Smith was found on Planfield Road in West Lebanon around 3:30 p.m. He was arrested on an outstanding violation warrant and armed robbery.

Smith was held on $50,000 cash bail at Grafton County House of Corrections pending arraignment on Friday.
