CONCORD, N.H. - The New Hampshire House passed a bill Wednesday banning hand-held cell phones while driving.

It comes with a $100 fine for first offenders.

If it becomes law, it would take effect on July 1, 2015.

A spokesperson for Governor Maggie Hassan says she is likely to sign it.
