NH Senate Holds onto Bill That Would Create 2 Casinos

CONCORD, N.H. - The New Hampshire Senate voted to table a bill that would create 2 casinos in the state.

The legislation would allow the casinos to share 5,000 video lottery machines and 240 game tables. The bill would also establish a gaming commission that would oversee current racing and charitable commission, and lottery commission.

The Senate will hold onto the bill and may vote on the bill at a later time.

The House Ways and Means committee is also considering their own gambling bill.
