A New Hampshire teen has been charged with criminal threatening after police say he made a hit list of five fellow students.

Police are not identifying the student, but say he put three girls and two boys on the list.

Three of the students attend Alvirne High, and the other two attend a neighboring school that wasn't identified.

One of the five students learned about the list and reported it to school officials on Wednesday, police said.

School officials said the students on the list are acquaintances of the boy who made the list, and none have disciplinary records. Police said other information is on the list, but they wouldn't say what it was.

Police said the suspect was arraigned Thursday afternoon, and he might face additional charges. They said they could also seek to have him charged as an adult.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
