According to the publication, this upcoming winter will be "much colder than normal" across the Northeast. The Almanac calls for normal winter precipitation, and below normal snowfall. Despite that, it warns that holiday travel periods, like late November and late December, will be the snowiest periods.
The Almanac says next summer will likely be hotter than normal.
As with all long range predictions, it's important to remember there is a high level of uncertainty involved with these forecasts.
