Police Arrest Men With 1,450 Bags of Heroin

LEBANON, N.H.  - The Lebanon Police Department and Enfield Police Department arrested two men in connection with the sale of heroin in the Upper Valley.

Police say they arrested Shawn Whitlock, 27, of Newark, N.J., and found 1,450 bags of heroin on him. The estimated street value is $29,000. 

Police also arrested Brandon Lemere, 32, of Lebanon, N.H., for conspiracy to distribute controlled drugs. 

Whitlock is charged with controlled drug acts prohibited with the intent to distribute. He is also being charged as a fugitive of justice on an outstanding warrant from Newark.  He was held at the Grafton County House of Corrections pending his arraignment on Tuesday.

Lemere is charged with conspiracy to commit controlled drug acts prohibited with the intent to distribute. He is being held at the Grafton County House of Corrections on $10,000 cash bail pending his arraignment on Tuesday.
