LYMAN, N.H. - New Hampshire State Police and the Attorney General are investigating the death of a 4-month-old infant on Quebec Road in Lyman.

Police say they responded to a 911 call at 4:51 a.m. They say the parents of the baby boy were home, and he was in medical distress.

The infant was taken to the hospital, where he died. In addition, the baby boy's 4-month-old sister was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

An autopsy was done on the boy infant Wednesday, but results are pending.

Police are investigating what caused his death and his sister's injuries.
