LAKE WINNIPESAUKEE, N.H. - The FAA has been called into investigate a small plane crash in New Hampshire. It happened around 12-30 p.m. Tuesday on Lake Winnipesaukee.

The seaplane is now underwater. Marine Patrol says officers found the pilot Vadim Gayshan, 59, of Sudbury, Mass., holding onto the plane. He was the only person onboard.

He was conscious and went to the hospital to be checked out.

The Gayshan told rescuers he was doing touch and go landings when his pontoon caught the water, causing the plane to flip.

Marine Patrol is working with several other departments to get the plane out of the water.
