U.S. Route 4 Bridge Replacement Project starts this Week

WEST LEBANON, NH- Starting Monday, construction crews will undertake a $10 million dollar project to replace the U.S. Route 4 bridge.

That's the bridge which goes over the Connecticut River between West Lebanon, New Hampshire and Hartford, Vermont.

Sewer, water, drainage will be reconstructed, as well as a new roadway base, curbs and pavement.

The road construction will continue until Mid-October .

Most of the work will be done at night, except after August 8th when work will be going on during the daytime.

Delays are expected and drivers are encouraged to take alternative routes if possible.
