FOX44 Meteorologist Steve Glazier says the radar showed snow moving in Wednesday morning. Glazier says that will intensify throughout the day.
Northern parts of the region could see 12-20”, while southern parts could see sleet and freezing rain, cutting down on snow totals. But, not enough to prevent a 6-12" snow/sleet accumulation with up to 0.25" of ice.
The storm is also expected to bring heavy winds, gusting anywhere from 35 to 45 mph.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for much of our area. It is set to expire at 8 p.m. Thursday.
