PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. - Crosswalk construction on Rugar Street will begin on Monday.

A press release says traffic will be affected on the east end of Rugar Street, between the Rugar/Broad Street intersection, and Rugar Street at Sanborne Avenue.

Construction of two raised crosswalks is expected to last two weeks.

Motorists trying to access the SUNY Plattsburgh campus will have to access from the Kehoe Roadway between Broad and Rugar Streets. Other drivers will be directed to access Rugar Street from Broad Street to Draper Avenue (or other connecting roads to Draper Avenue).

Questions or concerns can be directed to SUNY Plattsburgh's Maintenance and Operations department at (518)-564-5044.
