PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. - A former New York State Trooper will spend the next two years behind bars.

Trevor Donah was sentenced Friday in Clinton County Court.

Our radio partner WIRY says Donah was given one year for assault and one year for obstruction.

Donah was found not guilty of rape earlier this year, but was convicted of those other two charges.

He has a third rape trial scheduled to begin May 12.
