PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. - Make-A-Wish Northeast New York has special evening plans for a Plattsburgh boy with leukemia.

A press release says 6-year-old Matthew's evening will begin when a Ground Force limo drives him and his family to the Hong Kong Jade restaurant. After dinner, the family will head to the Plattsburgh State Men's hockey game, where Matthew will be able to meet the team and be invited to the ceremonial puck drop. He will also be presented a new PlayStation game system during the pre-game ceremonies.

A press release says at the end of the first period, the family will leave to have a shopping spree at GameStop. Matthew and his family will then head home in the limo.

The Northeast New York chapter grants around 100 wishes each year and has granted around 1,400 wishes since 1987.
