PLATTSBURGH, NY - Summer is slowly winding down, and that means it's back to school for countless college students.

SUNY Plattsburgh Students are moving into their new home-away-from homes this whole weekend.

The official year starts this Monday

SUNY Plattsburgh's President said enrollment numbers held steady this year, something to be proud of since projections were low this past winter.

"We definitely are really close to capacity this year which in my four years here I've never seen that before, but it's a good thing because we want to keep our residence halls filled up and we want to show students that it's a fun place to live on campus. There is so much opportunity here," said Nikki LaBarge with the Housing and Residence Life Office

SUNY Plattsburgh Officials said they had to turn away more than half of its applicants this year.
