NY State Police: Dog Intentionally Drowned in Tupper Lake

TUPPER LAKE, N.Y. - New York State Police are investigating an animal cruelty case in Tupper Lake. 

Someone located a deceased German Shepherd in the water in Tupper Lake on June 20. Police say the dog had a cinder block tied to its neck and appeared to have been intentionally drowned. 

Police believe the drowning happened sometime in the beginning of June.
