NY State Police Find 230 Bags of Heroin During Traffic Stop

PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. - New York State Police say they found 230 bags of heroin and 21.3 grams of crack cocaine during a traffic stop on I-87.

Police arrested and charged Raymond Jackson, 37, of Reading, Penn., with two counts of 3rd degree criminal possession of a controlled substance with the intent to sell. He was also ticketed for failure to use headlights while his windshield wipers were in use. 

Jackson was arraigned and was remanded to the Clinton County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash, or $50,000 bond. 

A passenger in Jackson's vehicle wasn't charged.
