NYSP: Hogansburg Fire Captain Arrested For Stealing Funds

HOGANSBURG, N.Y. - New York State Police say the Hogansburg Fire Department captain was arrested for stealing funds from the department. 

Ryan McDonald, 24, of Hogansburg, N.Y., is accused of stealing $5,985.31 by cashing checks made out to himself and by forging signatures of other members.

McDonald is charegd with 2nd degree forgery and 3rd degree grand larceny. 

McDonald was arraigned in the Town of Fort Covington Court and was released under supervision of probation. He is due back in court on Tuesday.
